Join us for a special day of cleaning litter on both land and water! We are partnering with Blue Water Baltimore and Waterfront Partnership for a “Canoe & Scoop” in Middle Branch Park! We are striving to have a big impact on this park, so we there will be two ways to participate!
Attendees will have the option to help clean litter on foot, or along the shoreline in vessels provided by Baltimore Recreation and Parks. There will be gloves and trash-grabbers available for use, but feel free to bring your own if you prefer. Attendees are also welcome to bring and launch their own canoe, kayak, or standup paddleboard!
The Patapsco River serves an important function as one of the main tributaries to the Harbor of Baltimore, as well as being the central landmark to the first state park in Maryland, Patapsco Valley State Park. This event is a unique opportunity to protect and enjoy, and learn more about one of Baltimore’s waterways. We hope you can join us!

All attendees are required to complete a waiver, and all attendees under 18 must have a paper waiver signed by a parent or guardian.
